SOUNDWEATHER

Projects concerning contemporary classical music with electro acoustic music, audio recording and editing, composition courses etc. are conducted together with cultural schools and compulsory school forms. The projects are aimed at and adapted to all ages and the foundation is creativity and imagination.
Pupils compose - Soundscapes

In collaboration with the Thomas school in Leipzig, Germany and the Mendelssohn chamber orchestra in Leipzig a project involving pupils in high school-age took place during the 07-08 school year. The pupils have undergone a composition course during the 07-08 curriculum and the joint composition was performed during a week of workshops, presentations and concerts in Leipzig and Neuzelle in may 2008. Saxophone

The musical psychological/philosophical connections to my geographical roots are investigated in a new work for alto saxophone solo which is composed in close collaboration with saxophonist Johannes Thorell. "Subarctic Mycelium" is a work which uses contrapunctual dramatisations in the spatial events and a sound structure in many layers and the interesting musically generated metamorphoses that can take place in the transition from strict, complex notation to graphical improvisation.
